This post is different from others. There are so many different types of diagrams, from Education to Professional life, we draw ER diagrams, UML Diagrams, Flow Chart, Network Diagram, Simple Circuits, etc etc etc...
With Technology there are many different softwares which helps us to draw these diagrams...
Most of the softwares are are capable to draw only a limited set of diagrams, and hence a user has to install multiple software...
Microsoft's Visio is one of the best tool which is capable enough to draw most of the diagrams, but its not a free tool....
Dia, is a software which is open source as well as platform independent...
A great software developed by Gnome...
It is also possible for a user to add support for new shapes also using simple XML files...
Guys its one of the best open source tool to draw diagrams for less official & casual work...
